What Does Trailhawk Mean On a Jeep?

2025 Jeep Compass - Trailhawk

railhawk is a Jeep brand trim level that signifies off-road capability. The Trailhawk trim is available to the Jeep Compass, Jeep Cherokee, and Jeep Grand Cherokee, and at our Kansas City Jeep dealership, you can see what these models bring to the table.

Legendary Jeep Capability

The Jeep brand first introduced the Trailhawk name on the Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2012. The intention was to deliver a more rugged and capable SUV over the standard variants. And since then, the trim has expanded to other models, allowing Kansas City drivers to get the right 4x4 vehicle for their specific needs.

When you opt for the Trailhawk trim, you can enjoy things like:

  • Low-range gearing
  • Unique badging
  • Increased ground clearance
  • Skid plates
  • Additional terrain modes

Whether you are shopping for a Jeep Compass Trailhawk or a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, our team at Cable Dahmer CDJR is ready to help.

Is the Trailhawk Package Worth It?

Whether or not a Jeep Trailhawk is right for you depends on your needs. If you enjoy adventure and taking the roads less traveled, these SUVs will suit you well. The more aggressive design helps these models stand out on the roads of Lee’s Summit and Overland Park, KS.

If you are shopping for a new SUV for sale near you and want something capable, we encourage you to consider our new Jeep inventory. You can shop online, or you can visit us at Cable Dahmer CDJR in order to learn more.

‘Big, Beautiful Bill’: What Kansas City Car Buyers Need to Know

The ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ offers a new tax deduction for car buyers who finance their vehicle purchase. We’ll explain how the auto loan interest deduction works, who is eligible, why you should act now on electric vehicles, and how Cable Dahmer CDJR in Kansas City can help you save. What is The Auto Loan Interest Deduction? Under this new legislation, qualifying taxpayers may deduct up to $10,000 in auto loan interest each year. This deduction is “above-the-line,” which means you can claim it whether you take the standard deduction or itemize. By lowering your adjusted gross income, this benefit can reduce your tax bill and free up cash for other needs. Auto loan interest has long been treated as a personal expense with no tax break. Now, financing a new vehicle may come with a sizable tax benefit. For example, if you finance a $40,000 Jeep SUV at 5 percent interest over five years, you might pay more than $5,000 in total interest. With the ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’, you could deduct your interest paid. Even if your interest charges do not reach $10,000 in one year, you still claim the amount you paid. Who Qualifies For It? To take advantage of this deduction, the vehicle and purchaser must meet all of the following criteria: Vehicle final assembly is in the U.S. Vehicle must be new Vehicle is financed through a standard and secured loan Vehicle must be for personal-use; commercial vehicles and leases do not qualify. Modified adjusted gross income must be below: $100,000 for single filers and $200,000 for joint filers. For every $1,000 of income over these limits, your deduction reduces by $200. Must purchase between the beginning of 2025 and the end of 2028. If you meet these conditions, you can claim this deduction on your tax return. How to Claim the Interest Deduction Gather your documents: Keep Form 1098 and annual loan statements showing the interest you paid. Fill out Schedule 1: Enter the deductible interest on the line for other adjustments. File your return: Use tax software or a preparer that supports above-the-line deductions. You do not need to itemize to claim this benefit. With clear records and the right forms, claiming the deduction is straightforward. Our finance team at Cable Dahmer CDJR can even estimate your annual interest deduction so you know what to expect before you buy. Electric Vehicle Incentives Are Ending in September If you are considering an electric vehicle, the $7,500 federal tax credit for new electric vehicles expires on September 30, 2025. After that date, no further federal rebate will be available. In addition, some state level rebates and incentives may phase out at different times, so check your local rules. Models like the Jeep Wagoneer S EV and other plug-in vehicles are still currently eligible. Buying before the deadline locks in the full $7,500 credit for qualifying customers. If you lease, remember leases do not qualify for the auto loan interest deduction, but may still receive a portion of the EV credit as of now. The 2024 Dodge Charger Is Going Electric

The all-new 2024 Dodge Charger is here, and this muscle car has some changes you should know about. In what Dodge is proclaiming as the first-ever all-electric muscle car, the Dodge Daytona certainly looks ready for the streets of Kansas City. At Cable Dahmer CDJR, we are excited to share what we know about this EV. Is the Dodge Charger Electric? For the 2024 model year, Dodge is releasing an electric charger. And that means, rather than a beefy V8 under the hood, this vehicle will be powered by batteries. The revealed model looks highly similar to the concept, and there are really no complaints there. From a long nose to a liftback, the new Daytona harkens back to the golden age of American muscle cars. Both a four-door and a two-door model will be available, along with a variety of performance upgrades. And although the 2024 Dodge Daytona is an EV, there will still be a gas-powered Charger later down the line. What is the 2024 Dodge Daytona? The new Dodge Daytona is an electric muscle car. It comes standard with 335 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, but of course, more power is available. The Daytona R/T will come with 456 horsepower and 404 pound-feet of torque. For even more performance, the Scat Pack will make 590 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. For the first year of production, something called Direct Connection Stage Kits will be available. These upgrades increase power up to 670 horsepower. And that should make for a thrilling drive, whether you are at the track or at the drag strip. One thing our team at Cable Dahmer CDJR is most excited about is that this EV is available as a coupe or a sedan. That means whether you need the practicality of four doors or you prefer something more sporty, you can get it. How Fast Can the Dodge Daytona Charge? In terms of charging, Dodge has stated that about an 80% charge can be added in 30 minutes when using a 350-kW-capable DC fast charger. With AC charging, you will get a peak of 11 kW. For a Level 2 AC charger, expect it to take around six hours to charge to 80%. Visit Our Kansas City Dealership Ready to experience the latest that Dodge has to offer?
