What vehicles are included?
This extended warranty applies to most new 2026 model-year Ram vehicles. Eligible models include:
- Ram 1500 (including the high-performance RHO model)
- Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty trucks (both gas and diesel engines)
- Ram Chassis Cab models
- Ram ProMaster vans (internal combustion engine models)
Note: Fully battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) and commercial fleet purchases are excluded from this specific coverage.
What’s Covered? The 10-Year/100,000-Mile warranty covers the cost of all parts and labor ($0 deductible) needed to repair essential powertrain components defective in factory materials or workmanship. Major covered systems include:
Engine: The cylinder block and all internal parts, turbochargers, water and oil pumps, timing gears/chains, and intake/exhaust manifolds.
Transmission: The transmission case, internal components, torque converters, and transmission control modules.
Drivetrain & Axles: Transfer cases (for 4x4 models), drive shafts, universal joints, axle housings, and differentials.
As with standard warranties, routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations), wear-and-tear items (brake pads, wiper blades, manual clutches), and damage from aftermarket modifications, neglect, or environmental factors are not covered.
Is the warranty transferable? This 10-Year/100,000-Mile Limited Powertrain Warranty is exclusive to the original retail purchaser or lessee and is not transferable. If the vehicle is sold or traded in, the warranty reverts to Ram’s standard powertrain coverage for the second and subsequent owners (5-Year/60,000-Mile for gas engines, or 5-Year/100,000-Mile for diesel engines).
